WebQuests
Several WebQuests have been designed for high school and college students to explore web-based databases and links for the four injury categories that are the focus of the Economics of Prevention Program (closed head injury, trauma, hearing impairment/loss, and crush injuries). These WebQuests ask students to take the role of an insurance claims adjuster investigating a farm injury incident. They evaluate the costs and liabilities and how preventable the injury may have been. Each WebQuest also has an associated ‘Investigator’s Notebook’ – a document that can be submitted as an assessment. These WebQuests and Investigator’s Notebooks are linked below.
